Uru Secondary School is located in Ongoma Village, Uru North ward, Moshi rural District in Kilimanjaro Region. It is situated 10km to the north of Moshi municipality, and can be accessed by road throughout the year for is a tar marked road. The glamour of mount Kilimanjaro adds color to the school environment as you enter the gate of Uru secondary school after the junction to the sacred heart Uru Roman Catholic Church and adjacent to Uru primary school and Uru dispensary.
